The my22qt logo was uniquely created by myself with my daughter in mind. With the help of graphic designer, Marianne Simmons, my idea was brought to life.
The logo as a whole is two 2’s facing one another to represent both the 22 of 22q and to create a heart within the numbers.
The first 2 is a blue jean color. Denim blue jean is the awareness color for all genetic diseases and disorders.
The second 2 is a light blue color. Light blue is the awareness color for DiGeorge syndrome.
Fun facts:
Izzy was 22 days old when she was diagnosed with 22q.
Also, the two z’s in her name coincidentally resemble a 22
despite naming her prior to her diagnosis.
