Tuesday, 7/27
Today, Izzy will have an ultrasound of her kidneys to make sure they are anatomically correct since kidney problems are a possible symptom with DiGeorge/22q.
We’re also checking with endocrinology to see if we can remove Izzy’s PICC line since her labs have been stable with her meds (!!!)
And we have been given the go to stop continuous tube feeds (!!!)
Now we will offer 2.5 ounces by bottle every 3 hours and just give the remaining amounts that she doesn’t drink through the tube manually.
There’s also a new hospitalist on board with us this week and he’s a no BS, get-to-the-point kind of guy, which we highly appreciate. His plan is to get us home this week (!!!) & hopefully with no tube 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
